Fly Fishing
The Orvis-endorsed Fly-Fishing Lodge at Nemacolin’s Rod & Range Club is home to some of the best fly-fishing streams in the Eastern United States. Whether your colleagues are beginners or experts, they’ll have a blast taking a catch-and-release fly-fishing trip and learning the ins and outs of the sport. Transportation and equipment are always complimentary — and if you schedule a full-day trip, lunch is included, too.
Sporting Clays
The Rod & Range Club also offers one of the country’s best sporting clay facilities for corporate retreats. Under the supervision of a guide, you and your colleagues can take part in the thrill of shooting clay targets that mimic the appearance of wild game birds. There’s an outdoor pavilion for instruction or meals, and there’s a rustic space inside for brainstorming, too.

Climbing Wall Height Challenge
Bring your group to new heights in the Climbing Wall Height Challenge. During this team-building activity, several markers will be placed at different heights on our climbing wall. Each participant then has the opportunity to attempt to reach a different height marker, creating exciting competition among the team.
Nemacolin Survivor Series
During the Nemacolin Survivor series, you and your team will be divided into two groups. Both groups pretend as though they’re stranded in the middle of nowhere with the option to choose only a handful of survival supplies. After selecting supplies, both teams receive a survival challenge. Only your selected items and the surrounding elements of nature can be used throughout the challenge. Your survival tactics will earn you points, and whichever team has the most points in the end wins!
The Great Chase
The Great Chase is a thrilling outdoor activity spanning more than 2,200 acres of Nemacolin’s lush grounds. Together with your team, you’ll navigate the property on foot to engage in up to five different activities, from the Centipede Shuffle obstacle course to the 50′ climbing wall challenge to the Tallest Tower building activity.

The Nemacolin Golf Academy
You and your team can golf year-round thanks to The Nemacolin Golf Academy, an indoor facility welcoming corporate retreat groups of up to 60. Here, you can host a corporate tournament for colleagues of all levels to compete or treat the team to a performance program that allows them to improve their skills.
Cosmic Bowling
Bowling is a great corporate retreat idea that boosts team morale, and it’s made even better by Nemacolin’s Cosmic Bowling alley. Defined by its neon decorative elements and black lighting, this one-of-a-kind spot has eight lanes so everyone in the group can play. Plus, it was recently upgraded so that even the gutters can add points to your game.
Indoor Axe Throwing
Located in The Peak, Nemacolin’s Indoor Axe Throwing range is also lit with black lights and neon decor, making the atmosphere as unique as the activity. With four axe-throwing lanes for four guests, there’s plenty of room for up to 16 of you to take turns aiming and throwing at the digitally-projected targets. Wine Tasting
Head to the Lautrec Bistro for a Wine Tasting experience. Savor the taste of three different varieties of wine, each complemented by a delicious cheese. You’ll learn about each wine’s characteristics and origins all while chatting and getting to know your coworkers even better.
Italian Cooking Class
Ideal for groups of up to 14, the Italian Cooking Class is led by expert chefs from Nemacolin’s restaurants. Working together, you and your team follow a recipe to make your own pasta, then dine together while enjoying a glass of wine. Add this activity to any corporate retreat itinerary.
Giant Puzzle
The Giant Puzzle puts your team’s communication skills to the test. In this team-bonding game, two participants will be blindfolded. The two blindfolded participants must listen carefully to the rest of the group’s instructions in order to successfully put together a life-size puzzle.
The Art of Teamwork
During this activity, each member of your team will receive a canvas with pre-drawn outlines. You’ll each paint your own colorful print according to the outlines which, when combined, will form a stunning mural. The finished work can be displayed in your workplace to remind you of the power of collaborative work. Ahead of this activity, you can choose whether you’d like the final artwork to resemble a famous painting, your company name, or even your logo.
Minute to Win It
Named after and inspired by the NBC TV show Minute to Win It, this team-building activity challenges your team to a range of tabletop games that require collaboration, communication, and patience. You might have to flip a cup onto a glass bottle in the game Flip Your Lid, or arrange 36 cups into a pyramid before arranging them into a single stack during the Stacker activity — all in less than a minute.
Build a Boat
Split your group into teams and take part in one of Nemacolin’s most unique corporate retreat activities, Build A Boat. Each team receives a bag of supplies, including duct tape, cardboard, and garbage bags. Together, each team must build a boat and paddle a team member across the family pool. The team that succeeds first wins!
