The Reimagination of The Lodge
The Grand Transformation of The Lodge at Nemacolin
It takes a bit of work to improve a masterpiece! Check back for further updates on this magical project.
The all-new Lodge will feature:
Rooms in The Lodge will now have extended spaces to provide guests with more indoor comforts. The 56 rooms will have a Juliet balcony or walk-out balcony as an outdoor element to take in the beauty of the resort.
The Lodge will deliver elevated lodging with distinctive, design-driven color palettes to embody the resort’s whimsical, woodsy charm.
The exterior facade will welcome guests with a larger porte cochère, expansive glass, and a fully accessible entrance.
The new lobby will be grandly transformed with a split staircase, fireplace, sumptuous furnishings, and upscale decor incorporating the glamorous and magical elements for which the resort is known.
The Lodge will have a secret study and a library bar nestled behind a mysterious doorway to serve as a cocktail lounge and late-night hideaway.
The Lodge’s restaurant — currently known as Rockwell’s — will be expanded to offer more seating for dining ambiance, intimate rendezvous, and party groupings.

Nemacolin has retained Moncur Design Associates, Inc. and Gensler architects to oversee the project, having worked together with the Hardy family to address the needs of guests and vision for the future of Nemacolin. We are committed to offering guests and members a world-class experience, and these enhancements are part of our effort to continually upgrade and improve the resort facilities. Although The Lodge will be closed from January until fall of 2023, the resort is open and serving guests and members to its always-high standard.
